The Muffs

The Muffs is a punk rock trio from Los Angeles. Formed in 1991 by guitarist Kim Shattuck and bassist Ronnie Barnett, who share lead vocal duties, the group dropped a series of singles on indie labels before getting picked up by Warner Bros and releasing its self-titled debut LP in 1993. The Muffs has since continued to work with various labels and returned to its DIY roots when it released its sixth studio album, 2014's Whoop Dee Doo, with the Los Angeles-based imprint Burger Records.
