Kumail Nanjiani

Kumail Nanjiani is an actor and stand-up comedian who hails from Karachi, Pakistan. After relocating to the US at age 18 and completing a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy at Grinnell College, he honed his comedic style and began hosting the videogame-themed comedy podcast The Indoor Kids in 2011. He went on to make various guest appearances on the hit sketch comedy series Portlandia and soon landed his own Comedy Central show called The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, which premiered in 2014.
