Fodbold Club Fredericia is among the twelve teams that compete in the Danish 1st Division which is the second-tier football competition of Denmark. The team is popularly known as FC Fredericia and plays its home games at Monjasa Park. It was formed after a merger between Fredericia fF and Fredericia KFUM. The team debuted in the fourth tier competition, Denmark Series. But by delivering amazing performances, the team kept progressing. In 2002, Fredericia fF split from the team, but the upward trajectory of FC Fredericia was still intact.
