Silkeborg IF is a Danish football club that represents the city of Silkeborg in the Danish Superliga. Since its formation in 1917, the club has competed in the First Division as well as the Superliga. Touted as one of the most successful clubs in the history of the sport in the country, it has reached the semi-finals of the Danish Cup multiple times, and also won the Danish Superliga and the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Silkeborg plays its home games at the JYSK park.
