After meeting at Chapman University’s Conservatory of Music in Southern California, Henry Allen and Preston Walker - two classically trained musicians - became fast friends after discovering a mutual love of shared interests. While the two found they had plenty to relate about, it wasn't until the two friends enrolled in a Music Technology class that their true musical ambitions poked their head. As they started to experiment with more and more things, shape began to take form under the moniker Virtual Boy. The duo's music incorporates old school samples, with glitched out accompaniments as well as the occasional dubstep dabble.
