Shenzhen F.C. is among the 16 teams that compete in the China League One matches. The team was founded in Shenzhen in 1994. Its initial years were spent in the third tier, but soon a brighter future started to take shape. The team proved unbeatable in many pivotal matches and made it to the Chinese Super League in 1996, although it did not win the league that year, it got its much-deserved victory in 2004. This was indeed a milestone for the team’s career, but with this win, the team also became the first to take home all the three top-tier titles.
