Qingdao Jonoon is a professional football team that competes in the third tier league of the country which is known as the China League Two. The team plays its home games at Qingdao Tiantai Stadium and it is often referred to by its nickname Hai-Niu. It was initially known as Shandong Economic and Trade Commission Football Club, but this was changed to Qingdao Hainiu and since 2005, the team is known by its current name. The team was founded in 1990 and was quickly seen as a worthy contender by other teams. In 1992, it won the Yi League Championship and kept progressing. It succeeded in winning the FA Cup 2002, which became one of the milestones in the team’s career. The team has also earned many domestic championship titles.
