Zhejiang Greentown F.C. competes in China League One - is the second-tier football competition of the country. It uses the Hangzhou Huanglong Stadium for home games. The team was founded in 1998 and its name has been changed from Zhejiang Greentown to Hangzhou Greentown and vice-versa many times. Two years into its existence, it purchased Jilin Aodong club’s first team, this added further strength to Zhejiang Greentown F.C. Over the years, the team has played out many memorable matches, which is why it is known as one of the best teams in Zhejiang.
