Chongqing Dangdai Lifan F.C. is a Chinese football club that competes in the Chinese Super League. The club was established in 1995 as Qianwei Wuhan and made its professional debut in the third division that same year. Consistent success in league matches helped elevate its ranking and the club rose to the top level soon after. The club moved base to the Chongqing region and following a takeover by the Lifan and Dangdai groups, took on its current name. Since its establishment, it has won multiple league titles and was crowned the winner of the Chinese FA Cup in 2000. The club is based in Chongqing and plays its home matches at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center.
