Named after the English football club Everton F.C.from Merseyside, Everton de Viña del Mar is a professional football club from the city of Viña del Mar. Founded in 1909, the club regularly competes in the Campeonato Nacional, the premier football league of Chile. Also known as the “Ruleteros”, it is one of the successful clubs from Chile and have won the Primera Division and Copa Chile titles which are the most coveted prizes in Chilean football. The club plays its home matches at the Estadio Sausalito and have a rivalry with the Santiago Wanderers.
