Esporte Clube Noroeste, nicknamed as Norusca, was formed in 1910 and is housed at the Estádio Alfredo de Castilho stadium. The club plays in the Campeonato Paulista Série A-1. Noroeste has won the Copa Paulista de Futebol twice and has successfully competed in other football leagues of Sao Paulo.
