Billy Corgan

Best-known as the front man of The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan is a singer/songwriter and musician from Elk Grove Village, Illinois. He rose to recognition with his band during the alternative rock wave of the 1990s, standing out with confessional lyrics and rich almost anthemic production, though by 2000s the project had broken up. Corgan dropped his first solo album, TheFutureEmbrace, in 2005, this time adding elements of electronica into his style. He has since reformed The Smashing Pumpkins and continued to tour under the name with a revolving lineup of musicians.
