Originally founded in 1989, Invisibl Skratch Piklz helped pioneer the turntablism movement of the 1990s. A lose-knit collective based out of San Francisco, the group creates tracks by mixing samples from records and using multiple turntables as instruments. Having at times boasted an all-star line up amongst its ranks, including A-Track, DJ Qbert and Mix Master Mike, during it's heyday, Invisibl Skratch Piklz was a force to be reckoned with. Though the group officially broke up in 2000, it will occasionally resurface to play festivals and one-off shows.
