Lommel S.K. is a Belgian football club representing Lommel, Limburg in the Belgian First Division B. It was established in 2003 as K.V.S.K. United Overpelt-Lommel following a merger between Overpelt-Fabriek and KFC Lommel SK. The new club started competing in the third division before gaining promotion into the second division at the end of the 2004-05 season. Five years later, KVSK United underwent another name change as a result of merging with KFC Racing Mol-Wezel and was rebranded as Lommel United. Despite getting off to a successful start, it failed to do well and was relegated to the Belgian First Amateur Division at the end of the 2016-17 season. The team subsequently changed its name to Lommel SK and moved base to the Soevereinstadion.
