Wave Racer

Thomas Purcell, who performs and releases music under his Wave Racer moniker, is a Sydney, Australia-based producer who equatorial sounding instrumentals that conger sun-drenched imagery with intentionally corny synth and rhythm arrangements to create a unique style of music that's been refered to as "tropical bass." Since releasing his debut single, "Rock U Tonite," in 2013, Purcell has become somewhat of a sensation amid Sydney's electronic music scene.
