SC Austria Lustenau is a football club from the city of Lustenau, Austria that plays its home games at the Reichshofstadion. Founded in 1914, it was initially named FA Turnerbund Lustenau and it only participated in friendly matches, but eventually paved its way into the Vorarlberg championships. The team took up its current name in 1936 and started gaining a reputation for its impressive performances. Those performances helped this team win the 1994 Regionalliga, which in turn marked the club's entry into the First League. For a few years it even played in the Bundesliga (top division of Austria’s football) before returning to the First League.
