Queensland Maroons is an Australian rugby league team that represents the state of Queensland, Australia. Deriving their nickname from the colour of its jersey, the Maroons play its home games at the Suncorp Stadium also known as Lang Park. The team majorly features in the State of Origin series where it competes against its nemesis the New South Wales Blues. Mal Meninga, Brad Thorn and Mat Rogers are a few players that featured in the State of Origin series as a Maroon.
