The Parramatta Eels is a professional rugby league team based in the Parramatta suburb of Sydney, Australia. Founded in 1947, the Eels play home matches at ANZ Stadium and compete in its team colors of blue and yellow. The team made it to the grand final for the first time in 1976 and again in 1977. Since then it has gone on to become one of the most decorated teams in the country, with several Premierships and Minor premierships to its name.
