Southern Steel is a professional netball team that competes in the ANZ Premiership. This Invercargill-based club was founded in 2008 as a result of a merger between Otago Rebels and Southern Sting. While the team have won the Minor Premiership, it is still in pursuit of the ANZ Premiership title.
