Based at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium (HISS) in Warners Bay, New South Wales, it was licensed to represent Newcastle in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) in 2002. The team has since participated in and won multiple championships such as the Goodall Cup, the H Newman Reid Trophy, the V.I.P. Cup, the Wilson Cup and the Bauer Conference. Some of the team’s most noteworthy players include Terry George, Ray Sheffield, Robert Starke and Glenn Foll.
