Autograph is a glam metal outfit that emerged out of the Los Angeles suburb of Pasadena, California. Initially formed in 1983, the group rose to recognition with its debut hit single "Turn Up the Radio," which sparked anticipation for its 1984 LP, Sign In Please. Despite earning quick mainstream attention, Autograph disbanded in 1989 after releasing two more full-length albums and losing its contract with RCA. Besides a brief stint during the mid-2000s, over a decade passed before the band reformed in 2013 with its original lineup, with the exception of founding vocalist Steve Plunkett, who was replaced by Simon Daniels.
