The xx is a band from Wandsworth, England that blends together elements of experimental pop, electronica and alternative rock to create a unique style of music. Founded in 2005 and consisting of Romy Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, the group would spend its formative years solidifying its sound and refining its songwriting approach before releasing its 2009 debut album.
