Written by Lorraine Hansberry, A Raisin in the Sun is a stage production that depicts the experiences of a black family living in the south side of Chicago. Mirroring several aspects of a real-life lawsuit, the production is a turbulent affair of money and racial discrimination that follows the Younger family as they struggle to move out of their dilapidated apartment and into a house.
