The Tasmanian cricket team, better known as the Tigers, is a professional Australian cricket team that was founded in 1851. The team competes in the Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup matches and has won both of them multiple times. The team has produced many great cricket players including Jamie Cox, Ricky Ponting and Daniel Marsh.
