Miracle on 34th Street is a holiday stage production based on the 1947 film of the same name. Written by Valentine Davies, the story takes places in New York City between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas, when a department store Santa Claus named Kris Kringle claims to be the real deal. As he bewilders his costumers and co-workers with decency and generosity, he breathes the true spirit of Christmas into the commercial world of New York City and into the lives of everyone he meets.
