Also known as "the Kangaroos," "the Roos," "North," or "the Kangas," North Melbourne FC is an American Rules football club that plays in the Australian Football League. The team was founded in 1869 making it one of the world's oldest sports clubs of any kind. Although based in North Melbourne, the team plays its home matches at the Docklands Stadium, attracting large crowds of cheering fans dressed in the team colors (blue and white).
