Hawthorn FC is a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League. Nicknamed the Hawks, the team was Founded in 1902 and is based in the Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn. The Hawks play home matches at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and compete in its team colors of maroon and gold. The team is distinguished as the only club to have won premierships in each decade of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s.
