Brazilian bossa nova singer Paula Morelenbaum has had a fairly prolific career, working with the likes of Antonio Carlos Jobim, and subsequently being a founding member of a quartet with his sons, Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum, the violoncellist Jaques Morelenbaum (who became her husband), and the highly respected Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. Her characteristic voice has won her fame throughout the South American musical sphere as well as a small fan base in the US and Europe.
