The Streets

Michael Skinner is one of the more prominent names on the British grime/rap/electronic scene. Performing under The Streets moniker, Skinner has a way of talking about common problems that plague all peoples' lives regardless of their class standing. Skinner burst on the scene with his 2002 debut LP Original Pirate Material - an album that highlights his ability to express everyman frustrations and quasi-Cockney vocal rhyming schemes.
