Die Sterne

Prominent members of the Hamburg School of music, Die Sterne, which translates literally to The Stars, began making music in 1992. Following the Hamburg School standards, the band incorporates elements of funk, experimental pop, grunge, and lyrics sung entirely in German to create a pertinent style of music that has gone over well with audiences and critics alike. Unlike most of the bands that stemmed from the Hamburg School, Die Sterne lasted beyond the 90s, and continues to tour and create music today.
