Peter Fox, whose real name is Pierre Steffen Baigorry, is a German musician and a key member of the reggae-dancehall group Seeed. He was born on September 3, 1971, in West Berlin to a German father and a French mother. In 2007, he initiated his solo career, releasing his first album, Stadtaffe, in 2008. This album, which he co-produced with Monk and DJ Illvibe, became a significant hit in Germany, featuring well-known tracks like “Alles neu” and “Haus am See.” Fox won the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2009 with the song “Schwarz zu blau,” which reflects the vibrant nightlife of Berlin. Although he announced the end of his solo career in 2009, he made a return with the album Love Songs in 2023. In his personal life, Fox has dealt with facial nerve paralysis since 2001, which has left part of his face slightly paralyzed. He currently lives in Berlin with his family and has received various accolades, including Echo Awards and a European Border Breakers Award for his contributions to music.
