Love is a strange thing. It can take a number of different shapes and there's no telling when it will poke its head out and strike. Unter Der Treppe (English translation: Under the Stairs) tells the story of two gay men and the lives they live. The love they have for each other is strong and lasting, but outside factors begin to infiltrate the two lovers' bliss and soon a cog is thrown into their wheel of love. While this story might sound extremely dramatic and heavy-hearted, the play's script is fairly light and comedic which helps add an air of comedic grace to the story's fairly pensive plot line.
