Moving Units

Los Angeles trio Moving Units, originally an emo/hardcore band called Festival of Dead Deer, began making music under its new guise and new dance-punk style in 2001. Forged out of the post-punk revival movement that was popular while the band members were still in high school, the band has retained this element, as well as a high school level sonic palate, throughout its career. Because it is heavily rooted in emo music, the band members grew up on, Moving Units is highly popular amongst alternative high schoolers everywhere.
