Brooklyn-based outfit People of the North is an experimental rock duo consisting of Oneida band mates Kid Millions and Bobby Matador. The band offers a psychedelic and krautrock-tinged noise rock sound that was first captured on its 2010 debut album, Deep Tissue. The record, as well as the band's 2012 follow-up Steep Formation, was released under People of the North's own imprint, Brah. People of the North made its Thrill Jockey debut in 2013 with Sub Contra.
