The Tellers

Essentially sounding like an indie Britpop band, a listener of The Tellers would be surprised to learn that the group is actually a French-speaking band based out of Belgium. Formed by Ben Baillieux-Beynon in 2005 after the guitarist decided he wasn't cut out for school, The Tellers quickly impressed the popular Belgian record label 62TV, who signed the band and promptly released its 7-song demo. The band's debut full length, following this demo, quickly climbed the Belgian music charts, reaching #7, and garnering the band a huge fan base throughout its home country. While the band hasn't quite won over American fans, it has received acclaim in both Australia and the UK.
