The Chicago Wolves play in a suburb of the Windy City called Rosemont and they stand in the Western Conference Central Division. The team is an original member of the defunct IHL, however it transitioned into the AHL when this league folded in 2001. Their first year in the AHL, the Wolves won the Calder Cup in 2002 and again in 2008. In fact, the club has never had a losing season while in the NHL's minor league circuit. The Wolves are also affiliates to the NHL's St. Louis Blues and they play at the Allstate Arena which has a capacity of approximately 16,700.
