Andrew McMahon

Andrew McMahon is a singer/songwriter and pianist who is probably best known for his involvement in the emo-rock groups Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. Born in Concord, Massachusetts, McMahon started playing piano at the young age of eight. After joining his first band in 1997, McMahon got a taste of the powerful dynamics of inter-group dynamics and flow--setting him on a career path towards the popular acts Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. In his solo material, McMahon focuses more on his piano playing, resulting in some extremely evocative songs that are able to communicate emotion through his adept instrumentation.
