TRF is a Japanese dance pop group formed in 1993, which is composed of vocalist Yu-Ki, rapper DJ Koo and dancers Sam, Etsu and Chiharu. TRF gained fame with five best-selling hit singles produced by the well-known Tetsuya Komuro. In the early 2000s the members stopped performing together as TRF and concentrated on their own solo projects. However, they reformed in 2006 and launched a nation-wide tour in 2013 as part of celebrating their 20th anniversary as TRF.
