Weapon

Formed by front man Vetis Monarch in 2003, Weapon is a heavy metal band from Alberta, Canada that creates blackened death metal. With a seemingly revolving cast of musicians during its first few years, the band released two EPs before finally settling in the studio to record its debut album, Drakonian Paradigm. Released in 2009, the record earned the band significant attention in the metal scene as well as hype for its follow-up effort, From the Devil's Tomb. Following the release of its sophomore album, Weapon signed with Relapse Records in 2011 and dropped its third studio album Embers and Revelations, in 2012.
