Lions In the Street

Vancouver-based band Lions In the Street has mastered the art of disguising its influences in its gritty rock and roll music. Though both British and American classic rock has without a doubt inspired the members no-filler blues rock sound, the four piece band is rooted firmly in modern times. Lions In the Street released its first record on a proper label, On the Lam, in 2013 despite having been creating music since the mid 2000s. After hitting a road block with TVT Records, the band focused on live gigs and writing music and eventually began to capture the attention of independent and mainstream music sources. With the help of producer Rick Parker, who has worked with artists such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the band explored the heavier facets of its sound and released On the Lam, with Beverly Martel Records.
