Califone

Formed by Tim Rutili after the breakup of his band Red Red Meat, Califone is a four piece based out of Chicago known for its creative experimentation. The band produces conceptual albums surrounding themes, like reoccuring dreams, silent films and ghost stories, and has recently began producing full length films to accompany its albums. Combining elements of americana, folk and blues-rock, but turning these elements on their head through experimentation, Califone has consistently proven itself as a true innovator.
