Asaf Avidan

Asaf Avidan is a Israeli folk musician who wrote his debut album, 2006's Now That You're Leaving, about the heartbreak he experienced after his long term girlfriend broke up with him. Though launching his career with a backing band billed as Asaf Avidan & the Mojos, Avidan has since dismantled the group so he doesn't have to loose focus on competing with some other musician when he's singing or playing guitar. Though Avidan mainly spends his time in Israel, he occasionally plays in Europe, where he has received favorable praise.
