Not many people know much about the country Georgia. It's a small(er) country in the Eurasian area and there is not much to know about the country apart from the fact that it has been inhabited by humanoid like creatures since the stone age. Not much has happened in the country. It was captured by Arabs, it became a sovereign country for a period of time and actually experienced a cultural renaissance of sorts, it was seized by the Holy Roman Empire, it was annexed by the Soviet Union and it gained independence in 1991. This information is slightly irrelevant to the fact that the electronic duo Okinawa Lifestyle calls the country home, but it also helps listeners understand where the individuals in the band are coming from and what type of culture the duo creates music for. Formed in 2009, Okinawa Lifestyle makes an interesting style of minimalist house that has tinges of hazy, chillwave production. Because it's rare for the group to get out of it's isolated country, an opportunity to witness the duo perform live is not to be missed.
