The Alchemist

Born Alan Daniel Maman, The Alchemist is a producer, hip-hop artist, DJ and rapper from Beverly Hills, CA. After earning respect in the underground hip-hop scene in Los Angeles with his group Dilated Peoples and as producer for his longtime friend, Evidence, The Alchemist he began working with Mobb Deep, who introduced him to all of the up and coming names in the genre and some of the most recognized hip-hop artists in the world including Fat Joe and Snoop Dog. On top of his own recordings, like his 2004 debut album 1st Infantry, and 2012's Russian Roulette, The Alchemist would go on to become the official DJ for Eminem and release several albums with Oh No under the moniker Gangrene.
