Fatima Al Qadiri

Brookyln based multi-media artist and musician Fatima Al Qadiri was born in Senegal and grew up in Kuwait. Her cross-cultural background has lent her electronic music a distinct witch house sound, composed of symphonic and baroque electronic elements. Her 2012 Desert Strike EP is inspired by virtual war games, their relationship to reality and the child-like terror and wonder she experienced while playing one particular game called Desert Strike.
