If a band wants to make an easily accessible form of pop music with a rock band aesthetic, the group's music is typically referred to as pop rock. Though the genre peaked sometime in the 80s with bands like Cheap Trick and The Scorpions, there are still a few bands out there crafting finely tuned pop rock gems. One such group is the Swedish outfit Danger Avenue. The band was formed in 2006 and as the band continues to release polished studio material and tour, it'll no doubt continue to gain prominence in the modern pop rock scene.
