One of the first to experiment with post-rock electro, New York based Adam Pierce began branching off from the many bands that he played in, including The Swirlies and HiM, to create a solo project in 1997. Dubbing himself Mice Parade, Pierce began releasing highly creative music that was given accolades by many music snobs. In the early 2000s, Mice Parade grew to include multiple rotating instrumentalists who helped Pierce realize his shifting penchant for Eastern folk and African beats. Known for its energy and precision during live performances, Mice Parade has gained a devoted fan base throughout the US and Europe.
