Fushitsusha is a psychedelic rock band that blends experimental textures and avant-garde noise into one cohesive style. Hailing from Tokyo, the group is centered on guitarist and singer/songwriter Keiji Haino, who leads a revolving group of supporters to fulfill his sound. Though Fushitsusha formed in 1978, the band didn't release a proper studio album until 1993, when it unleashed of Allegorical Misunderstanding on Avant records. After several more records, from 1998's The Wisdom Prepared to 2001's Origin's Hesitation, the band announced an indefinite hiatus. Fushitsusha returned in 2012 with a new record, Hikari to Nazukeyo, appeasing its diverse fan base and filling a gap in Japan's modern rock scene.
