If you've ever heard music through noise canceling headphones - or just a really expensive pair - then you're aware of the awesomely intimate sounds that modern listening devices produce. The crummy thing about these types of headphones is that it's a bit of a let down to listen to music regularly, without the sonic ear muffs. One band that's able to consistently sound like they're being played through noise canceling headphones, though, is the Swedish electronic rock outfit Covenant. The band makes a menacing form of music and with crisp production, the band constantly sounds sharp and clean. Though the band was formed in 1986, members of the group have somehow managed to stay on the cutting edge of music technology and incorporate these futuristic sounding musical devices into the band's music on a more than regular basis.
