FC Dynamo Kyiv is one of Ukraine's most successful football clubs. It was formed in 1927 and since then, it has managed to deliver top-notch performances in almost every game it plays. It is affiliated with the Soviet Dynamo Sports Society and holds its home games in the Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex. Since 1936, the club has never been relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League and also holds a record number of league titles. It is also a regular participant in UEFA competitions, but is yet to get its hands on major European silverware. The club is also known to have created a number of Ukrainian superstars, with Andriy Shevchenko being one of the most successful products of its academy. Others such as Serhiy Rebrov, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy and Oleh Blokhin, have also donned the colors with pride and have led the club to several victories.
